Changli is one of the most stylish and powerful characters in Wuthering Waves. As a fusion of elegance and raw firepower, many players are racing to unlock her full potential. But once you pull her, the real grind begins, maxing out her stats through resource farming.
Farming Changli's materials can feel like a slow burn (pun intended), especially if you're going for full completion. This guide covers every material you need for pre-farming Changli, so you're ready whether you just unlocked her or you're prepping for a future banner.
Changli’s Ascension Materials For Each Level
Changli is a Fusion attribute character, and her boss drop is the Rage Tacet Core, which you can farm from the Inferno Rider world boss in Huanglong’s Sea of Flames. Like all boss drops, it costs 60 waveplates per run. The number of drops depends on your SOL3 Phase level. Generally do 12 runs are enough to get Changli to level 80, but this can vary depending on your SOL3 Phase.
The open-world material you need is Pavo Plum, which is found around Mt. Firmament. You’ll also need Crude to Tailored Rings, which drop from Exile enemies or are farmed in Forgery Challenges.
To summarize, here’s what you’ll be farming:
- Rage Tacet Core (from the Inferno Rider boss).
- Pavo Plum (gatherable near Mt. Firmament).
- Rings (from Forgery Challenges or world drops).
- Shell Credits.

Forte Materials Required For Changli
Changli’s Forte nodes require Metallic Drips, which come from Forgery Challenges. You’ll want to run the forgery challenges in Huanglong to get these. Each run costs 40 waveplates, so prepare to commit if you’re aiming for full enhancement.

Inert Metallic Drip | ×25 |
Reactive Metallic Drip | ×28 |
Polarized Metallic Drip | ×55 |
