Kuro Games occasionally releases Twitch drops for Wuthering Waves to promote the game and to keep its players happy. If you don’t know what Twitch drops are, they are basically rewards earned in-game from watching Twitch streams of the said game. These rewards are only usable in-game; they can be resources, cosmetics, or, rarely, precious things like premium currency. In this guide, we will take you through everything you need to know to claim Twitch drops and stay alert for the next drops as well.
Step 1: Link Your Accounts
To participate in Twitch Drops, first ensure your Twitch account is connected to your Wuthering Waves account. This linkage is crucial for receiving rewards. Visit the official Twitch Drops page for Wuthering Waves to complete this process.
Step 2: Identify Eligible Streams
Not all streams qualify for Twitch Drops. Look for streams categorized under “Wuthering Waves” with the “Drops Enabled” tag. Only these streams contribute to your progress. While watching, a progress bar will indicate your advancement toward the next reward tier.
Step 3: Watch to Unlock Rewards
Rewards are unlocked based on cumulative watch time. For example, during the Version 2.5 event, the following milestones and rewards were available:
- 15 minutes: 25,000 Shell Credits
- 30 minutes: 5 Medium Resonance Potions
- 1 hour: 3 Advanced Energy Cores
- 1.5 hours: 2 Advanced Energy Bags
- 2 hours: 50 Astrites
These rewards are typically delivered to your in-game mail within 24 hours.
Step 4: Claim and Utilize Rewards
After watching the required amount of content, claim your rewards through the Twitch Drops inventory page. Then, log in to your Wuthering Waves account to receive the items in your in-game mail. Use these resources to enhance your gameplay, such as upgrading Resonators or progressing through the Resonance Chain.
